I’ve got good news: the floors for the VW Type 3 bug-monster child are on the way. I got to use my new hole saw and tube bender and managed to learn all the wrong ways to use both. I’m inching closer to doing it right. Should I have bent the corner? Possibly. Should I have done a mitered joint? Also possible. Does the rear mounting point make much geometric sense? No. Mistakes were made, but it fits, it functions, and the project continues.
